Panic Plunge
Added to the park in 2006, Panic Plunge showed Silverwood the power of the drop tower. As an integral part of that year’s advertising campaign, Panic Plunge even had its own mascot of sorts in the character of Gravity - the poor guy is still hounded by fans.
People turned out in large numbers to both ride and watch the new attraction and Panic Plunge remains a major attraction at Silverwood. After being secured in your seat Panic Plunge begins its measured ascension into the air. As you slowly climb up this goliath there is just enough time to ponder what you have gotten yourself into before being suddenly released towards the ground. Hearts will jump as gravity takes over dragging you screaming towards the earth. Then, just before sudden impact you are slowed down to a gentle landing. Good times! |
